Boys Summer Select Development Program details:
- SDP Summer Training Programs run from June 9, 2025 through August 8, 2025 (no training the week of July 4th)
- On-ice training at Maple Grove Community Center
- Off-ice dryland training program provided: shooting, puck handling, passing
- TCO Strength training is located in Plymouth at 16800 37th Pl N, Plymouth, MN 55446
- Group size is limited
- Low athlete to coach ratio
- Experienced Coaches committed to push our athletes to reach the Next-Level (see Coach Bios)

Twin Cities Orthopedics (TCO) and Training HAUS are the official sports medicine and sports performance providers of SDP Hockey. We’re excited to partner with both organizations for the care of all SDP Hockey athletes. With their help, our goal is to build the top hockey development program in Minnesota.
Training HAUS
Training HAUS, powered by TCO, will provide sports performance training. Through our partnership, SDP Hockey athletes have access to elite, all-encompassing strength and sports performance training services. This partnership provides an innovative and personalized approach for athletes who want to take their hockey performance to the next level and is built on a foundation of science, research, and world-class sports medicine expertise.
Twin Cities Orthopedics
TCO provides concierge care coordination and priority scheduling support for partner athletes. From initial physician evaluations through return to sport performance testing, TCO’s Clinical Navigator is your exclusive resource. TCO’s network of providers from sports medicine physicians to physical therapists will provide outstanding hockey-specific care for athletes and families.

Training HAUS Performance Coaches
Kirk Olson, MS, CSCS
Kirk received his Master of Science (MS) in Exercise Physiology from St. Cloud State and spent over decade as the strength and conditioning coach for the Minnesota Wild. Kirk has also coached players from the NFL, MLB, and National Lacrosse League (NLL). Having served his time with the pros, Kirk is passionate about coaching athletes of all ages, activities, and ability levels. Kirk combines the science behind athletic performance with a positive, motivational coaching style to get the most out of every athlete.
Justin Axelson, BAS, CSCS
Justin Axelson received his Bachelors in Exercise Science at Concordia St. Paul University where he also played college football. Jusitn has been for sports performance coach for the last six years and has worked with all types of sports and all types of athletes ranging from high school, college and pro level. Justin loves motivating and pushing people to be the best athlete they can be.
